The GrowthHUB Group is a specialist management consulting practice, operating across Europe, Middle East and Asia from our Dubai base.
Your workforce is your organisation’s greatest source of sustainable competitive advantage, and your greatest risk! Striking the balance between the two is something precious few organisations get right – those who do, win in their market – guaranteed.
We help owners, CEOs and HR leaders focus in on the aspects of talent management that make a fundamental difference to an organisation’s performance. We’ve worked with billion $ startups, right through to restructuring 40 year old family conglomerates and private offices. But we also support the SME sector too – an often neglected segment in the consulting world.
No two engagements are the same, our projects range from supporting entire HR transformations to providing technical / subject matter expertise in focused areas of Human Resources such as strategic workforce planning, organisation development, leadership development and compensation & benefits.
We take care of the technical aspects of your talent agenda, freeing up leaders in your organisation do what they do best.
I founded GrowthHUB in 2016 with a clear purpose, to enable organisations of any size to access common-sense, no-nonsense advice and support that makes a tangible and visible difference. We’ve designed our approach to client engagements in a way that will leave you delighted – delivering value way beyond the project deliverables at a fraction of the cost of using a tier 1 consulting firm as keep our overheads low.
Our unique approach combines traditional consulting methodologies, with extensive real world leadership experience – and this makes a difference. Our team have walked in your shoes, have faced your problems as a leader in an organisation, so we’re able to combine these experiences to deliver vastly superior outcomes to a traditional consulting engagement.
Our team knows what it takes to get all the constituent parts of organisations to perform to their best, not just through theory and models, but because we’ve done the hard yards throughout our careers.

What Our Clients Think
At KAUST, we are in a unique environment, where we don’t just operate one of the world’s leading research universities, but a city which would eventually be home to more than 10,000 people. John was engaged as a strategy consultant during 2013 and 2014, on a wide ranging brief that covered compensation & benefits review, employee engagement action planning, and our strategic workforce planning program.
He developed and executed a vision for a HR Analytics program on an unprecedented scale to drive our strategic workforce planning initiatives. Whilst influencing our hiring decisions, these insights in turn drove accommodation, healthcare and education infrastructure requirements along with wide-ranging improvements to our IB schooling system.
The HR analytics program was the centrepiece of our SWFP program, but achieved a globally unique status by essentially becoming a program that not only planned an entire city, but identified the links between non-workplace behaviour, to what happened in the workplace. This is testament to John’s vision and ambition to test the boundaries of what is possible for clients.

We are a 40 year old family business, entrepreneurial yet conservative. Over an intensive 4 month period, John systematically evaluated our our challenges and opportunities, developed a clear and actionable plan for rapid transformation. We addressed the core building blocks of HR such as our contracts and policies and data, then moved on to addressing hiring practices, culture and our compensation structure with a particular focus on designing sales incentives that drive the right behaviours.
He also implemented a HR system and hired a Head of HR with the capability to take this work forwards. It was an enlightening and educational experience working with John from a strategic HR perspective, everything that was done within the project was laser-focused on the organisation’s future direction and designed to enhance our workforce’s performance, and he went the extra mile beyond the scope of the project. If he saw an issue out of scope, he fixed it for us without hesitation or additional expense. In the time since the project we have seen significantly improved sales performance, higher retention rates across the company and a better quality of hire, all of which have resulted in a more motivated and engaged workforce.
